I had a huge smile on my face while he was on The Cliff. I didn't hear anyone in the theater laugh...maybe they were speechless? Fun times.
You know how everyone goes to The Life Cafe because of Rent? People should start going to The Cliff. I'd go.

Not just the Cliff.
Set up a tourist trap with a cardboard cutout of Adam on the edge. Pay a few bucks for a picture with Adam and the Cliff.
I almost feel like I'm taking these Cliff jokes too far.

Oh the cliff. Oh the hair. Yes, I am seeing the Adam-loving on this thread. I can't wait to see it again! I was gonna go tonight but it's snowing really hard out so I'm gonna wait till tomorrow before the family all start showing up for Thanksgiving. That said, I was lisening to the Rent soundtrack while making pumpkin pie, I just can't get enough of it! In the car on the way home from the theater I was just singing as loud as possible to "Out Tonight", it was so much fun, and I wasn't even with anyone (my friends are still at college). Don't worry, though, I didn't sing in the theater. I actually had to move because some girl behind me was singing and I was like "No, I am NOT sitting through this movie I paid $6.00 to hear a tone-deaf 10 year old singing 'Seasons of Love'" It's just a lot more enjoyable when it's the OBC y'know? Lol.

I giggled a LOT during The Cliff. You can't resist laughing at it!
The Adam crying got to me, esp. when they show him during the ICYR. ALL of them crying got to me, and I was bawling during that whole scene(Okay, I was crying from Without You through the end, with the exception of The Cliff, but thats beside the point).
Wow, every review has said Anthony was amazing. Not that I'm surprised, but even ones who hated the movie liked the cast and mentioned him as a standout.
In everything I've seen Anthony in, I consider him a standout. He has a charisma that just draws people to him, and is an incredibly gifted actor. No matter if the part is large or small, he climbs into the character's skin with such ease. I've seen quite a few people watch his acting with open mouthed staring.

Oh my LORD! I adored it even more than i thought i would. I only used 5 tissues, though. That made me proud. I couln't help laughing during "light my candle", though, because i had that video clip running through my head. I was just waiting for them to start marching, haha. Was anyone else as amazed by Jesse as I was?
"`I grow old... I grow old... I shall wear the bottoms of my trousers rolled.` What does that mean, Mr. Marlowe?"
"Not a bloody thing. It just sounds good."
He smiled. "That is from the `Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock.` Here's another one. `In the room women come and go/Talking of Michael Angelo.' Does that suggest anything to you, sir?"
"Yeah -- it suggests to me that the guy didn't know very much about women."
"My sentiments exactly, sir. Nonetheless I admire T. S. Eliot very much."
"Did you say, 'nonetheless'?"

Review pending.
I need advice as to where to post it. Here? New Thread? Off Topic Thread?

Lari, I recommend here(seeing as theres a gazillion RENT-related threads popping up lately), although if you're going into real detail put heavy spoiler warnings.
And you'll be happy to know I'm now officially saying your username RIGHT :)

Personally, I think it's nice that The Cliff feels loved.

I have a lot of love for The Cliff. I think I may go and make a 'The Cliff is love.' colorbar.
And Lari, I'd say post it in here too. I'm sure most Anthony fans check this thread pretty regularly. :)

More people need to make a lovable joke out of The Cliff as we have. Makes it more enjoyable.
And I am totally watching out for Wax Lion when I see the movie again later.

Wax Lion is in the movie? Sweet! I didn't notice though, staring at Adam, you know?

Exactly. Adam being pensive was worth the stare.
I'm sort of like "Why would Mark and Roger have a Wax Lion?" but okay!

But Mark and Roger?
A four-inch lion?
Maybe they think he's cute.

Silly Wax Lion.
But, I'm totally getting what you guys were saying about the whole delayed reaction thing. When I first came out I was like, wow that was awesome.
But as I'm sitting here, remembering more and more about it, I've come the conclusion that it was amazing. I really need to see it again.
