What do the crowds for shows look like? I see there have a lot of 2pm shows but they get    Sold out fast?

The 2pm shows on Wednesdays are every Wednesday, not just the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. The special matinee is the day after, when most shows add a Friday matinee. You should expect heavy crowds as that is one of the most popular weeks of the year for Broadway. But still, you will have plenty of shows listed at TKTS that day.
