I am going to London the first week in August.  Are there any shows I should book?  I already have my Paddington ticket.

The Guilty with Russell Tovey; Donmar Warehouse

The Misanthrope with Sandra Oh; National Theatre

The Truth; Apollo Theatre

Midnight at the Never Get with Ben Platt; Menier Chocolate Factory

Ramin Karimloo and Meow Meow are in Sweeney Todd at Birmingham Rep if you're up for a day trip. i

I'll add

Cyrano - RSC transfer at the Noel Coward

Hot Mess - The Other Palace (Cast recording is available to stream, give it a go!)

Death Note: The Musical - Barbican (World premiere and a no brainer if you like the source material)

And if you're day-tripping Leicester Curve will have the world premiere of The Silence of the Lambs Musical. It should be possible to do a two-show day with Birmingham, if you wanted; I did it over the Christmas period with Sherlock Christmas/Sound of Music in Birmingham and Leicester, respectively.
