"I went crabbing once, and caught lots of craps "

Thanks for proving my point. You don't catch "craps" by fishing. You catch it at the casino.

"no i'll most likely be a star by then so I probably won't be in school :)"

And with that comment, this thread has died. Roxy brought it to life, Pinto scorched it to the ground.

Just a peace of my mind.

"did YOU take the producers plan into account when saying that the show should have closed in February?"

absolutely. The producer's plan ended in the last week of January, when the show would have closed, as it should have, except that, at that point, Dan Farah (Danza's manager) took control of the show because the lunatics didn't want it to close. And the rest, as they say, is history. The producer's plan to which you refer was subverted.

Can someone get banned for purly being stupid and annoying?

Apparently not since Philly is still here. I thought everyone was a little too hard on them at first, but then reading their constant annoying posts, it finally caused me to come out of barely posting.

"I'd also like to add that On the Town was open with raves already during the holidays."

Add what you want, but rave reviews doesn't mean a show won't flop.

"Wasnt there a week when Honeymoon made 600,000? Idk i never really looked at the numbers"

Absolutely not.

And yes, we know, it's clear you never looked at the numbers.

Oh what's a couple of more million to flush down the toilet? Crtitics opinions have very little clout these days. Except for Mormon. The reviews were so over the top for that one.....the public just couldn't resist paying $400.

The fact that Mormon is such a hit is one the great mysteries of all time.

Only to you.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

Lol. What a prime example you've just made of yourself above.

Roxy, please stop talking about Mormon. You're the only one who doesn't understand. I feel like this is a daily thing since you've seen it. You didn't like it. We know.

On the Town seems to be slowly creeping up the count. I wonder if it could become another like Smokey Joe's where it was struggling terribly until the Tony's and then it exploded to a very well respected run.

"Whenever I get gloomy with the state of the world, I think about the arrivals gate at Heathrow Airport. General opinion's starting to make out that we live in a world of hatred and greed, but I don't see that. It seems to me that love is everywhere. Often it's not particularly dignified or newsworthy, but it's always there - fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, husbands and wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, old friends. When the planes hit the Twin Towers, as far as I know none of the phone calls from the people on board were messages of hate or revenge - they were all messages of love. If you look for it, I've got a sneaky feeling you'll find that love actually is all around."

"Pintobean, the fact YOU come on here and make a comment like that tells EVERYONE you live and moribund and jejune life."

FindingNemo, which definition were you using?

  1. naive, simplistic, and superficial.

"their entirely predictable and usually jejune opinions"

  2. (of ideas or writings) dry and uninteresting.

"the poem seems to me rather jejune"

And for the record, I had to look up the definition.
