A Chorus Line, definitely. I'm still bummed that I was too young to see the original.

A Little Night Music. Me being a Sondheim geek and all. ^_^

I would love to see a revival of and a new recording of "The Mystery of Edwin Drood"....."My Fair Lady" would be nice, and a revival of "Sweeney Todd" would be just delicious.

Cheers,

I am just THRILLED about the new HAIR (actor's fund). I am glad we are going to get a new recording of the musical. The older versions are good but updated vocals will be nice too!

Damn yankees- with victor garber(reprising) or john lithgow as applegate (unless by that point i'm a viable option)

"Grease," the fourth revival of the season, is the worst show in the history of theater and represents an unparalleled assault on Western civilization and its values. - Michael Reidel

THE GOLDEN APPLE

Saw one production by The York Theatre in the late 70s/early 80s.

This should defiinitely be done again in NYC.

Not for everyone (yeah, I'm being a snob), but then again, neither is Sondheim. Still, I belive APPLE is more accessible than the majority of Sondheim's solo work, and may even be superior.

GOLDEN APPLE is, oh, gosh, just give a listen...ya gotta love it!

Shows that need to be revived:
I would sell my soul to the devil for Damn Yankees to come back :)
Blood Brothers is amazing as well
And though it doesn't really count since it was off-Broadway, The Fantasticks.

Arghh! Grammar pet peeve #1: your vs you're. "Your" is a possessive pronoun. "You're" is the contraction of "you are." <<
