I'm hoping Cook sings material she hasn't done before. And I'm hoping Vanessa Williams sings "Could I Leave You?".

That'd be great for Williams. I love that song too.

Curious about how much of Night Music will be feature with the revival playing (Kritzer would know Miller's Son out of the park).

I'm also hoping that Cook is integrated with the rest of the cast throughout and it doesn't just turn into one of her concerts.

Ms. Williams said on "The View" today that she has a strip number and that there would be dancing involved in the show. Any idea what song she'd strip to? "More"? "Lucy and Jessie"? "Ah, But Underneath"?

Since Lapine said that none of the songs will be performed in character, Cook and Williams could make for a lovely "Every Day a Little Death".

And the obvious would be Cook and Williams pairing for "There's Always a Woman".

Lapine has also said that some of the selections will be obscure. Wondering what that entails. Early work from college? That'd be a treat for sure.

I'm assuming the trio of Sondheim/Lapine shows will be represented well. Hopefully Passion gets it's share of material.

I'm also curious about Sondheim's declaration of Overtures/Assassins/Road Show as a trilogy about American. Hopefully this will be touched on.

I'm assuming his lyric only contributions will be left out?

I know it's not going to happen but I would so love the show to end on a sort of cliffhanger note with the opening number to Sondheim's brand new musical, opening "Insert Date Here", whatever that might be. *sigh*

I'm assuming his lyric only contributions will be left out?

One of the cast members wrote something on either twitter or facebook (can't remember which) about singing Something's Coming, so apparently at least one of his lyrics only contributions will be included.

TheaterFan4, it's a revue about his life. The actors aren't characters, but I believe they are supposed to comment on moments through songs he wrote. The songs are mixed with video footage of new interviews with Sondheim.

^ Yep, that is basically all we know about this so far.
I really hope it doesn't turn out to be a Roundabout disaster. I have high hopes for this show. If it's a great show, I would not be surprised if it received a Best Musical nomination over Come Fly Away or some other musical.

A Best Musical nomination would be great, but a PBS filming would be amazing. To me, this seems like one of those things that gets filmed for TV/DVD. Maybe it's just wishful thinking, but this just looks really awesome.
