Why do you want Paul Newman to die?

Ew. Hatred for Newman... not cool. I think it would be a fitting tribute if your thread got deleted. Jackass.
But actually, my vote is for Chip Zein.
and what about Malcolm Gets?? well, it feels like so long. I MISS HIM on the Broadway stage!

Chip Zien? You mean the Chip Zien that's playing a role in COUNTRY GIRL?
My vote is for the one and only Meryl Streep.
After her, I'd say Kristen Bell and Bernadette Peters.

Patrick Wilson. And soon I shall get my wish!
And ditto to Bernadette Peters and Jesse Martin.

Trekkie2..WHERE did you get the idea that I "want" Paul Newman to die?! Please, let's read things for what they are. Mr. Newman has not done much lately, and I am a fan, so if he decides not to do anything else after that, going back to the stage would be a great thing to leave us with.
And TooDarnHot...your statement is what qualifies for the "Jackass" award. I am NEITHER a PN "hater" (read above), and I chose him with a great deal of respect for the actor AND man. Not sure how you interpret things "toodarnwrong"! ={

Oh, I forgot about Jane Krakowski. And I agree with Ljay about Ann Reinking. Bebe Neuwirth was on Broadway last year, so I'm okay with her taking a bit of a break (same reason I haven't mentioned la Murphy).

OH. I forgot Bebe returned to CHICAGO as Roxie. I still cannot believe I missed that. But I would like to see her in something else besides Chicago.

You guys need to see Caroline O'Connor again.
Well I didn't want to get into it, but he's a Satanist.
Every full moon he sacrifices 4 puppies to the Dark Lord and smears their blood on his paino.
This should help you understand the score for Wicked a little bit more.

Seriously, Chip Zien is on THE COUNTRY GIRL, I don't see how that qualifies him as being "away from Broadway for a while." He is on Broadway!
