I second Michael C. Hall. Season 3 of 'Six Feet Under' has some awesome "haha, David's singing showtunes!" moments. But I don't think it's going to happen while people enjoy 'Dexter'. Damn you, 'Dexter' devotees!

Let's get Robert Sean Leonard back. On second thoughts, let's not. When the sadness inevitably happens that 'House' one day ends, *then* let's get him back.

Let's blacklist Terrence Howard so he never works on a New York stage again.

Hugh Jackman, mainly because, despite having tickets twice, I never got to see him

Sara Ramirez

Scott Bakula

(there are more, but it's early and I haven't had coffee yet so I'm still half asleep)

I don't know why Chip Zien's name was mentioned. We were all having a discussion about how he has been working continually the last few years. Country Girl, Applause, Les Mis, Chitty Chitty and Syracuse.

Kathy Bates
Jeremy Irons
Meryl Streep (though she really is better on film)
Roger Rees
Amanda Plummer
Barbara Harris
Joe Mantegna
Alan Rickman
Maggie Smith
Karen Morrow
Barbara Cook
John C. Reilly
Antonio Banderas
Rita Moreno

Revision: What do you know? I got my wish, Irons is coming back next season, and with Joan Allen, no less. It will be great to see them both back on Broadway.

Susan Egan
Emily Skinner

I'd like to see Alice Ripley back on broadway, but I don't quite think she fits on this list as she was just off broadway a few months ago so it isn't like she's disappeared from NY theater.

A couple of TV actors I thought made promising debuts in replacement roles: Eric McCormack in The Music Man, and Jane Curtain in Noises Off!

I'd love some Emily Skinner back in a New York show for longer than two days. Someone get her in a long running production soon, please.
