I can't find a clear answer on Google. Tonight, I'm in a musical theatre recital and I have 2 solos (one has high notes) and 1 duet. I need to practice my singing throughout the day, so I can nail the high notes and remember the lyrics to my songs.
What would be a good lunch and dinner for me for my voice?

Nothing spicy that's for sure. I would say something lite like a sandwich or some soup but the soup can't be super hot.
Stay away from dairy and chocolate
Salad, water
Apparently Cheez-its are good for your voice. I was told that it has something do with the salt. I don't know if anyone can confirm it.

It ultimately depends on your own body and how it reacts to various foods. For instance, some people will swear by gargling with apple cider vinegar, while others will have visions of acid reflux dancing in their heads if they did that.
The important thing to keep in mind is that you want to stay hydrated, so avoid foods that typically make you feel thirsty. For many people this will mean avoiding things like caffeine, alcohol, or anything high in sodium or sugar.

This is probably too late but sushi and pineapple (not together) seem to be popular answers when actors get asked this question. I have a bad habit of not eating meals before I sing so I'm no help.
two veal cutlets
