I mean he did an interview where he said he was ready for a break from theatre and that only a unique piece like EBT that he couldnt pass up on made him rethink.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child as older Harry and judging by recent grosses the average ticket with a former film cast member will be $5k and the show will be the first to gross $10m  in a week.

He's made it pretty clear he has no interest in returning to the Wizarding World of TERF Income Generation.

He also has no need to. Daniel successfully transitioned from child actor to diverse avant garde adult actor who is respected artistically, a box office draw and while always will be known and loved as Harry Potter can be seen as other characters. It’s pretty much the best case outcome for a child actor. Paid handsomely. There is no way he needs to milk the Harry Potter franchise anymore the same way his co-star does.
