Ok. After seeing Hairspray for the third time and the undeniable fact that I will be seeing it many, many more times. What show have you seen the most times.. Just want confirmation that my obsession is healthy. :)

I've sat through Stoppard's trilogy 3 times (27 hours total), and would have gladly gone to see it again.

But you have to count that I live 1500 km. away from london and 8000 km. away from NY!

And in Barcelona, I saw the catalonian version of "no way to treat a lady" 5 times

I've seen Producers 3 times (twice with Lane/Broderick, once with Alexander/Short); Gypsy twice (once with bernadette, the other with maureen moore); little shop twice; and movin' out twice.

That would be RENT which I've seen 15 times. Second is Hairspray with 5 times. :)

Just found out yesterday I'm going to see Phantom for the 4th time... july 17th... yay!! i'm so freakin excited!! (anyone have an opinion about the current broadway cast? i wanna know what i've got ahead of me, even though i know i'll like it no matter what!!) outside of that, les miz twice... other shows once

Les Miserables, since I was kid ... about 40-something times on Broadway. That doesnt count the times I would second act and sit in the rear mezz after school on Wednesdays back in the days of high school.

The Full Monty, 13 times OBC.

Sunset Blvd, 11 times on Broadway. All the Normas.

I've seen "Thoroughly Modern Millie" 12 times on Broadway. I don't think another show comes close to that in terms of the number of times I've seen it... "1776" and "Side Show" are next and I only saw those 5 times each.

mcphan19, I'd have to say my favorite was Elaine Paige too. Her voice was just thrilling, and she was scary. The makings for a great Norma.

Also, after a show in March a week before closing, it was freezing outside. Rather than come out and sign in the cold, or dodge us at the stagedoor completely, Ms. Paige signed backstage for us who waited. Nice lady.
