GREY GARDENS and COMPANY (2006). I would have loved to have seen both of them again.
I wish COMPANY was still up so that I could go see it tonight for the first time.
I miss ROCK 'N' ROLL, I wish it was still running.
Musical: Spelling Bee
Play: Is He Dead?
Wish I got to see but didn't get to : Thoroughly Modern Millie
That I've seen and miss? Spelling Bee, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, and Next to Normal.
That and I didn't get to see and miss because I love them even though I couldn't see them: Grey Gardens, Company, The Light in the Piazza (saw it on tour, but not the same), and a lot more.
I'll say Grey Gardens--I saw it once and I don't think I fully appreciated how good it was. I got the OBCR and by the time I had listened to it a few times, I realized that I needed to see it again, and it had closed.
I'll also vote for the revival of Guys & Dolls in '92. I really wanted to see it, but I had my first child around that time and just couldn't get there.
And I wish I could somehow go back in time and see Robert Preston in The Music Man.
Journey's End, cause I missed it in the last time when I visited New York.
If I can turn the time back, I would definitely trade "Grey Gardens" to "Journey's End".
In no particular order:
Journey's End
Grey Gardens
Blackbird
Bare
Drowsy
and me too JKlock, soon...Curtains.
I'm going to have to add RAGTIME to my list as well.
Cats-Yes, I am dead serious. My mother taped the Great Performances of it on PBS when it aired, and we spent a Sunday morning watching it. I also kept the tape to continue watching it, and recently have purchased a copy of it on DVD. I never did get to see it on Broadway while it was playing because my parents didn't do anything like that with us. Well, until last June with Mamma Mia for my birthday. But anyway, I am obsessed with Mr. Mistoffelees. He was just awesome.

gotta agree with Side Show.
here's another one that won't be so popular.
Sunset Boulevard
yeah it's the recycled works of ALW but it's still a brilliant show.
