What's Next for Ben Platt?

I was curious as to what everyone thinks will come next for Ben Platt after Dear Evan Hansen. It's just an idea thread because I'm pretty sure nothing has been planned for him (and he could extend his DEH contract)!

I was hoping he might be cast as Damien in the Mean Girls musical in DC, but the DC previews start October 31st and Ben's contract is through November.

Whatever he does next, I'm sure it will be spectacular. I became such a huge fan of his and I'd really like to see him stand out in another show!

Ben is a self-proclaimed "musical theatre nerd," so, no matter what happens next, I believe he'll always have a connection to Broadway and performing on the stage.

I would love for him to do a revival. I know She Loves Me just was on Broadway, but I think he would inspired in that show for any of the roles.

Yeah, no. I'm sure he'll get more high profile work, but he's not going to abandon the theatre like that harpy from GLEE.

if the show Dear Evan Hansen goes across the pond to West End, I'd hope Ben would star there for at least a limited engagement to give him a chance for an Olivier award.
