My dream role is Man in Chair in The Drowsy Chaperone
Albin/Zsa Zsa, Man in Chair, Edna Turnblad, Max Bialystock, Pseudolus, Jekyll/Hyde, Momma Rose, Judas (Superstar), Jean Valjean, Frank N Furter, Charlie Brown, CB, Malpomene/Caliope, Georges/George, Gaetano Proclo, the Joe Sears roles in the Tuna shows...
OK so the I have a HUGE list. And this doesn't include the roles I've played that I would LOVE to play again like Reverend Mother, Alvin Kelby, Horton the Elephant...
Oops, there I go again!
Belle- Beauty and the Beast
Glinda- Wicked
Marian- The Music Man
Wow. The only way I could sound more like a teenage girl is if I said Elle Woods.
lol dollypop
Matt-- Fantasticks. But, now I'm almost too old to play one of the fathers.
Harold Hill in "The Music Man"
Albert Peterson in "Bye Bye Birdie"
J. Pierrepont Finch in "How To Succeed"
Cunegonde-Candide
Val-A Chorus Line
Hmm...
Audrey II, Mrs. Lovett, Tracy Turnblad, Rafiki, Ursula, The Witch (Into the Woods), The Drowsy Chaperone, Mama Rose, Edith Bouvier-Beale/"Little" Edie Beale, the list goes on and on.
Don't get me STARTED on the roles I'd play if I were a man.
My ultimate dream roles are:
Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde in Jekyll and Hyde
Leo Frank in Parade
Harold Hill in The Music Man
And I have to wait at least ten more years before I can play any of them lol.
As for more age appropriate roles, I would love to play Peter in Bare and the title role in Pippin.

In the realm of possible:
Dolly Levi
Mame Dennis
Albin/Zza Zza
Leaf Coneybear
Peter Pan
In the realm of only in my wildest dreams:
Cassie
Molina or Valentin in Kiss Of The Spider-Woman.
Che in Evita.
Gerardo in Death and The Maiden
Guido in Nine
I'd make an awesome Eva in Evita. All I need are some boobs and a vagina.
I have a lot, but I have to say my 4 ultimate ones would be Belle in Beauty and the Beast, Luisa in The Fantasticks, Sarah Brown in Guys and Dolls, and Louise in Gypsy.
Paul - A Chorus Line
Dorothy - The Wiz
Clara in The Light in the Piazza
Johanna in Sweeney Todd
Dot in Sunday in the Park with George
Most of the roles that really intrigue me are men... like Amadeus and Sir Percy Blakeney. And I'd kill to play Edna Turnblad, BUT that's never played by a real girl. And I'd love to be Rafiki in the Lion King, but I'm white. So I guess I'll stick with:
Mrs Lovett in Sweeney Todd
Madame Thenardier in Les Miserables
Eulalie McKechnie Shinn in The Music Man
Charlotte in A Little Night Music (or ANY role in that show)
The Witch in Into the Woods (or anything really)
I wish I could be Jo in Little Women, but I can't sing well enough and I don't look the part. I've also always wanted to be in the ensemble of Beauty and the Beast, maybe a spatula or something!
