Hands down for me
"the audition" in 42nd street
OR
"42nd street/finale ultimo" in 42nd street. I luv when they're all dancing on the glowing stair case, and the finale ultimo is tap heaven.
"One" from A Chorus Line
"Steam Heat" from The Pajama Game
"Be A Santa" from Subways are for Sleeping...of course I never saw this one...but the thought of a line of dancing Santas seems irresistable!
"Hot Honey Rag" from Chicago
"If You Could See Her" and "Willkomen" from Cabaret
Bombay Dreams'Finale
For me, it's definitely "Audition" from 42nd Street and pretty much every number from West Side Story.

---desperately waits for revival!"
stage_door76, I couldn't have said it better myself. I was too young to see the original, so I've only been able to enjoy it through amateur productions, taped performances, and the horrible movie. As soon as I saw this thread title, I immediately thought of A Chrous Line, and I was surprised that so few people were mentioning it. (Dancing Through Life is hardly a dance number and definitely not comparable to those mentioned here!)
ACL: One, Music and the Mirror, I Hope I Get It (I just like watching dance auditions)

I guess more people here are familiar with the film version of the show than the complete stage version, so I will put in my vote for the Somewhere Ballet from West Side Story.

One from A Chorus Line, the adution from 42nd street, and You Can't Stop the Beat from Hairspray made me want to get up and start dancing.
