It changes so often... Les Mis is a sentimental favorite. Kiss Me, Kate is my favorite comedy. South Pacific is probably the most all-around brilliant show I know, West Side Story runs a close second. Ragtime is my favorite score.

Seperated by a mere few votes my first fave of all time is Sweeney Todd but Kiss of the Spiderwoman comes in at a very close 2nd.

2-A Little Night Music/ Company/ Sweeny Todd
3-Billy Elliot/ Phantom of the Opera
4-Wicked/ Legally Blonde
5-Spring Awakening/ Rent
6-Gypsy/ West Side Story/ Into the Woods
7-The Drowsy Chaperone (A canon in it's own, though Drood could go here)
8-Beauty & the Beast/ Mary Poppins
9-Man of La Mancha/ 1776/ The Mystery of Edwin Drood
10- Titanic/ The Secret Garden/ Little Women (Musically, atleast)/ Ragtime

I think my favorite is Sound of Music. It was the first show I ever saw professionally, and there's nothing like putting on the film version to make you feel better after a bad day.
