Angels Part 1.
I know you’ve already seen Waitress, but I just got out of the show with Katherine McPhee and she was excellent. There were a lot of empty seats (I imagine the fallout from post-spring break week) so it should be easy to get a ticket.

Hello Dolly, if you have never seen it. It is a wonderful show.
Similarly, if you have not seen any of the following shows, there is a reason they have run as long as they have. People love them: Phantom, Chicago, Kinky Boots, Beautiful. Why take a chance. I enjoyed Waitress, but it is ultimately nothing more than a pretty okay show. Period.

2 shows i was considering was Chicago or Phantom.. since we never seen them.. even if we can’t dish them TKTS tickets would be cheap enough... of course we are also playing all the lottery’s
If you want something "more adult," I would personally go with Three Tall Women. It has performances that would be a crime to miss.
I always recommend Once on this island.

If you've never seen Phantom, this is a good time to do so. They're in between "announced" leads right now (Peter Joback is gone and Ben Crawford hasn't started yet), so you'll very likely get Laird Mackintosh in the title role and he is superb (very much in the Michael Crawford vein). If for some reason he's out, you'll probably get Jeremy Stolle, who is absolutely brilliant. It's a win-win either way.

I'm always of the opinion that if you haven't seen Phantom, you should. I've had good luck with the lotto, and my TKTS seats have always been excellent, so it's a good bet. I'm completely biased since it is my all time favorite show, but it's been running that long for a reason. There's nothing quite like it.
I just recently (finally) saw Chicago, and a friend described it pretty well. It's a good show, but the staging is more like a concert version than a big production. Very limited set and such. Still a very fun show and the music is catchy... It was enjoyable, but then I saw Hello, Dolly! the next day and was blown away... I love Bernadette, so that was just a wonderful evening. Chicago was good, Dolly is wonderful
My votes are Phantom, Dolly or Once on this Island, which is another just fantastically done production.
THE BAND'S VISIT. Beautiful, moving piece.
Save Once on this Island to bring the kids to.

Totally forgot about The Band’s Visit. Another vote for that.
