We have this question at least once a week, and my answer is always the same.
Ragtime.
As much as I love Ragtime, I think it's still too soon.
However, it is not too soon for another brilliant Ahrens and Flaherty show. Once on this Island needs to be revived, now.

I would love to see another all african-american cast revival of Guys and Dolls.

South Pacific is being revived next season at Lincoln Center, directed by Bartlett Sher (Light in the Piazza, Awake and Sing!) I'm really looking forward to it. It's probably the last truly top tier Broadway musical not to have a major Broadway revival.

Ive said this so many times but
Camelot
A Little Night Music, I love this show so much and in a few years I would love to see a revival of Parade but not right now...
A Little Night Music. Hands down
And Once on this Island
And I agree, it's too soon for Ragtime, but it will need a revival in ten years

BroadwayBound062,
There's a great cast all lined up for a new national tour of Camelot that launches in California next month. It stars Michael York, Rachel York and James Barbour. Now if they were to somehow transfer to B'way, I'd be in favor of that revival.
I'd also like to see City of Angels come back someday. I think it would be super if Rachel York were cast as Oolie/Donna this time around.
I also love Mack and Mabel. I wonder how the recent London production of that was? I could see Brent Barrett playing Mack Sennett - or Michael Cerveris. Maybe Kerry Butler as Mabel?

You know, I think WEST SIDE STORY could use a revival...
However, it is not too soon for another brilliant Ahrens and Flaherty show.
Or THE GLORIOUS ONES could go to Broadway. It's World Premeire is in Pittsburgh, but I'm not sure as to if it's an out of town tryout ordeal or what.
