What will be the biggest Tony Surprise?

...If anyone (outside of our beloved, comparatively small, national theatre community) watches.

Fantasia's singing is only chance it has right now for non-embarrassing ratings.

And that depresses me to no end.

But no one out there in "Amurrakah" knows these shows or the actors nominated (except for maybe David Hyde Pierce). That isn't going to create much interested, if any.

I think Curtains may take best score.
GG will get the female acting awards, and SA will take best musical.
Raul will probably get actor. And I think voters will want to give something to what MAY be the last K&E score on Bway. PLus it has that song that that makes everyone think of Ebb. (When The Music Stops, or something like that.)

exactly. As much as I would love Gallagher to win I don't think he will. I think it will fall to Pittu which is very deserved but SA whore in me wants differently.

other than that I'm gonna jump on the Audra bandwagon and pray for Tony #5 or even Donna Murphy to steal it.

You really don't thikn Gallagher will win? I am SO sure he's gonna win, I'll bet my puppy on it!
I will be VERY upset if Donna Murhpy wins. But I will be happy if Audra wins, even though I think Ebersole deserves it.

I don't think Gallagher winning would be such a huge surprise. I'm not saying he's a lock on the award (I'd personally like to see him win) but a lot of people are saying he is. He's one of the favorites to win the award, along with Pittu.

I think the biggest surprise would be if anything other than Utopia won best play.
