I'd want to play Jekyll / Hyde in a classy "proper" revival of Jekyll & Hyde. Not that shlop that opened in 97, but how Jekyll & Hyde SHOULD be....

I'd like to play pretty much ANYTHING they'd give me! But ultimately, yeah, of course - Rose.

g(a)linda- wicked because the part fits my voice and personality(voice more) so well.
peggy-42nd street because it's the perfect part and musical for me. triple threats all the way!
penny-hairspray because i'm the biggest dork in the world, so it would be fun and probably easy to act out.
sophie-mamma mia because, i don't know, i just like that role.
miss dorothy- thoroughly modern millie because it fits my voice and personality.
i have so many more, but i'm going to spare you guys.

Older Helen in Hollywood Arms. That role is so me -- literally.
Velma Kelly in Chicago... mostly because I could sing and dance the hell out of that role

Rose in Gypsy. Yes, the singing load is overwhelming, but the character herself is amazing. She's not a particularly good person, but she's charming nevertheless. She's a strong woman who isn't defined as just "the love interest." She's her own person- overbearing, rude, and fiercely determined. She loves her children even as she smothers them. And when her own dreams are thwarted, instead of becoming withdrawn and bitter she does something about it, even if that something isn't very good.
And she gets to sing "Rose's Turn." What a song.
