)...Oh I know there's more...

Penny Is my absolut dream role right now. She just seems like she would be so much fun to play, the side kick. Penny gets to go through major changes and she isn't affaird to follower her heart no matter the strugle that she knows is a head. Also she means so well and has sunch a big heart but ya know she doesn't always get things and I just love her to death and I wish I could have the chance someday to play her.
Other parts I would like to play Millie, Eponine, and Little Sally (Urintown)but I think I'm to tall for that role
.

Well right now being in a Broadway show even as a swing or understudy would be a dream role for me...but a girl can dream and someday I want to play Eva Peron. I feel like I could bring her to life onstage in a way that has never been seen before.
I also think that I would be awesome as Elle Woods if Legally Blonde ever gets to Broadway.

Posted: 2/11/04 at 8:18amI would love to play Hines in a revival of "The Pajama Game." I love that show and that character is so much fun. Also, I know it has already been done, but Nicely in "Guys and Dolls." Like others have said, I would just like to get an ensemble or swing role in a Broadway show. Maybe someday!

Hmmmm.
Mother in Ragtime, Lucille in Parade, Julie Jordan in Carousel, Baker's Wife or Witch in Into The Woods, Beth in Merrily We Roll Along, Lilli or Lois in Kiss Me Kate, Laurey in Oklahoma, and Amneris in Aida. I think that covers most of the BIG ones I'd want to do. Even though I've already done them I'd would LOVE to do Annie Oakley in Annie Get Your Gun and Roxie in Chicago again. They are some fab parts! But of course I would just die if I could be on Broadway in anything.

I'll post again, as well...
Nicely-Nicely in "Guys and Dolls"
Seymour in "Little Shop"
Charley in "Merrily We Roll Along"
The Baker in "Into the Woods"
Lion in "The Wiz"
Tobias Ragg/Beadle Bamford in "Sweeney Todd"
Herman in "The Most Happy Fella"
The Balladeer in "Assassins"
Frederic in "Pirates of Penzance"
Judas in "Jesus Christ Superstar"
and when I am old enough, Jean VelJean in "Les Miserables"
I just think these roles are a perfect fit for me vocally, and quite a few of these are perfect for me type-wise. However, acting wise, there is a lot for me to sink my teeth into. Also, I would to play some of these roles being that I am an African-American young man to show that these roles can be played by anyone, and that casting needs to be more diverse in musicals these days. Also, I tend to love character/featured roles in musicals. They always have the best material and fun things to do.
Cheers,
The Balladeer

If I could act, sing and/or dance, my dream role would be Bobby from "Company".
I feel this to be one of the great leading male roles in a musical. "Being Alive" as your big give all song, whow!
Hugh Jackman would be a great Bobby, for me he would be a great anything or one.

Posted: 2/11/04 at 6:38pmMy dream role is to play Mama Rose on Broadway. I love the fact that the book is fully developed and absoutely fantastic. I love all the material given to Rose's character. I think that, with this role, I could keep delving deeper and deeper into it and go on performing it for years, if my voice could hold up, that is. I really identify with her desire to be a star, with her total and utter desparation and that one unfulfilled dream that haunts her. We're more alike than I'd care to admit.
