Marin Mazzie! Wonderful in Ragtime and great in Kiss Me Kate. Where's her Tony?

Raul Esparza, Sherie Rene Scott, and Christopher Sieber, most definitely. *sigh* I'm glad Seiber was nominated this year, though. Raul, though... Oy. Some day...

Dee Hoty and Hugh Panaro. I also think that Greg Jbara is extremly talented and needs one too.

It's been said a LOT but Hunter Foster definitly, and John T and Raul all of whom whom sadly were up against Hugh Jackman in 2004 so didn't have much of a chance.
Raúl's nod was for featured actor, for his performance in Taboo. He lost to Michael Cerveris, for Assasins.
Kevin Chamberlin....he should have one for his role as Horton in Seussical.
Donna McKecknie...duh wait has she won a TONY?
Ken Page...this man should have won one along time ago. Terrence Mann Brent Barret Andre De Shields Frances Ruffelle Judy Kuhn Sandy Duncan Sheryl Lee Ralph Hugh Panaro Susan Egan Steve Blanchard Linda Eder Roger Bart Anthony Rapp Rebecca Luker
Now these people really do deserver TONYS...its been along time coming for most of them...dont you agree???
Yes...Donna McKechnie won Best Actress in a Musical for A Chorus Line in 1976.

Frances Ruffelle won for Les Miserables and Roger Bart won for You're a Good Man Charlie Brown
Oh, and it would be nice if the Tony voters would take notice of a young actress named Audra McDonald.
I have to say, though, with all due respect to their talent, I think it's too soon to say that people like Sara Gettlefinger and Christian Borle should "finally" win a Tony. Aren't they both under 30 and in their first eligible roles?
I am hoping the Audra McDonald comment is a joke..considering she has already won 3 Tonys! (Carousel, Master Class, and Ragtime)

Marin Mazzie should have won for Ragtime or Kiss Me Kate. She is an amazing singer and actress.
Raul is just delicious and wonderful, but he is still early on in his career. As soon as he gets to essay a Sondheim role on Bway, he'll be nominated and most likely win. Michael Cerveris is talented, but it would be much more exciting if Raul was doing Sweeney. I still think Brian Stokes Mitchell would have been the best choice, however, for this revival.
Elaine Stritch, of course, needs to win an acting award. I want to hear her supposedly fabulous acceptance speech!
Raúl Raúl Raúl. Of course, if everything would have gone as planned, he would have won for The Normal Heart had it went to Broadway. Damn those producers.
