The entrance to the theater itself.

I wouldn't rule it out. Between BWW and Reddit there was a lot of buzz yesterday on the tip of getting membership to buy presale tickets. Or at least that's how I found out about it. Assassin's wasn't really on my radar until yesterday's posts on Slater's casting notice and subsequent threads on tickets sales.
I got a ticket for late April. Can't wait!
Tickets were going fast, but not too bad if you were on the jump.
Not unexpected, but damn those were pricey for Off-Bway. (Why else do a Sondheim revival at a non-profit if not to fill the coffers?)

I just got one for 5/17. The seating chart was pretty convoluted, but the theater is so small that it didn't seem to matter too much and most of the tickets were the same price anyway.

Hello! Does anyone know of a PROMO CODE?
They’re gonna be selling rush/student tickets later right?
Right?
(Please say right).

A checkout site having a spot for a promo code doesn't mean there always is one.
Pretty painless, although I did screw up and ended up booking the wrong end of the 100s, but called the box office, and they switched me to the better side of the 300s, so I'm out by the corner of the thrust. Albeit all the way further back in the last row of the theater (also known as the fifth row).

Not necessarily. All rush tickets are subject to availability, as per their site. I’d recommend signing up for their Access Ticket emails, also on their site under “Ticket Discounts.”

They also still have $20 student memberships which give you one $25 ticket per production. Not as cheap as rush but more certain.

Huh. This didn't sell out as quickly as I thought it would...I guess we'll see!
Anybody know how it works with 100's, 200's, and 300's... are the 200's the center? Seems like 200's must be best considering the pricing...but there isn't a solid map I can find.....

200s are the head-on view. 100s and 300s are technically side view but it’s a very small theater and who knows how they’ll stage it.

Vis a vis cheaper ways in, CSC is pretty good at getting people in with the rush line. I appreciate that they still do it pretty low-tech – just show up a certain amount before curtain, put your name on a list, and wait it out. At a sold-out performance of Carmen Jones, I was the fifth or sixth on the list and the last to get a seat (about 10 seconds before curtain!).
Also I have to say I think this price is more than fair. I know $80 is no small sum, but this would be a stacked cast even on Broadway, and tickets for far lesser off-Broadway musicals regularly exceed $100 these days.

It's been on sale for 90 minutes?

And if you look at the calendar, you'll see there's already one performance that IS in fact, sold out. So I think It's okay that I'm surprised. Chill.

With so many other much more "pressing" tickets, I've decided to just wait till rush or access, or extension!

You have my permission.

I believe that's the opening performance. It's been marked "sold out" since before tickets went on sale. It seems like you're the only somebody who isn't "chill."
Thanks to the mods for taking care of the blatant bullying that’s happening around here.

I’m in the same boat. I got two sets of tickets thought one for 4/25 and another for the final showing 5/17. I am beyond excited about this production.
