Check out Brian D'Arcy James's answer from 6 minutes to 7 minutes on his Ask a Star.

Apparently, it's The Imp and is a great mystery to the entire cast .

But he said the Imp comes on the male side. Rachel Stern is a girl, but the description sounds right.

For what it's worth, Heather Jane Rolff is in the Mother Ogre/Humpty track all weekend and is wearing the Humpty Dumpty costume. Whether it's the same one or a new one I can't tell you since tonight was the first night I've seen the show.

But that was apparently temporary since at the final performance, both of them had actors on them.
