Have you met Sam Shepard?
Actually, I have. Briefly.
Me too!
Ha ha. Not exactly a warm and fuzzy guy.
But he is brilliant.

People always have these horror stories about him. I thought he was nice. And Jessica is just lovely.
I have a horror story. But i will not share it.
There's no way we can coax it out of you?
Nope. Updated On: 2/12/05 at 10:20 PM
I know that he had a habit of literally running past fans after performances of "A Number".
i thank EVERYONE who makes broadway happen, all the people, not just the actors. all the hard working proffesionals who make it seem seemless... i do marvel at the proffesionlism of it all!
I met him years ago and he is perhaps the rudest man i have ever met.

Corine- If you are going to start - then finish? Puke? Tell us.
I think Corine is going to stand firm and keep this story to herself.
Oh. I also want to thank Larry Kramer. I love characters.
Has anyone ever noticed what a nice smile Tony Kushner has?
I also want to thank Tony Kushner and Jeanine Tesori.

I have heard so rather discouraging things about Mr. Kramer as well.
Kramer is a riot. Cracked me up.
I told him how much i loved The Normal Heart.
He said. Great see it again. I said i have seen it three times he said.
WOW. Tell your friends. I said i did. He said that is wonderful.
I REALLY NEED TO PISS NOW.
I thought i would die laughing.

Yeah, he's fun and a half. I told him that I cried during "The Destiny of Me", and he started laughing so hard I thought he would wet his pants. He made a remark about how moving it was, and again with the hysterics.
I was referring to a friend who said that she went to tell him how much she loved and respected his work, and that he practically spit poison at her.
I've already written a letter to the song writers of Altar Boyz.
I'd like to write another letter to Jeff Marx and Robert Lopez thanking them for Avenue Q -- just because they've managed to write the truth about young adults in such a funny and enlightening way.
And Jeff Marx is one of the nicest people i have ever met.
So sweet.
Terrence McNally is also very nice, if you ever get the chance to meet him.
