Yesterday, I too received a cast signed playbill from "A Free Man of Color." It looks like Mos Def signed it, but I cannot tell if Jeffery Wright singed the playbill
I got my signed 'Next to Normal' Playbill in the mail today! It's signed by the entire cast, including understudies! It took about a month (not that I care; I'm so excited I even got it!)
I'm planning on sending my Addams cast recording to get signed by BeBe and Nathan Lane - I've never done this before so I thought I could ask for a little advice - obviously I'll send a SASE, but do I address it the theater, or the actors themselves? and if I'm looking for two signatures, do you address it to both of them?
Yesterday, I got a cast signed Importance of Being Earnest playbill.
Today, I got back my original Company playbills signed & personalized by Elaine Stritch as well as a signed & personalized picture! :) Updated On: 2/4/11 at 05:39 PM
Isn't Stritch the best? She inscribed her photo to me (several years back)- Thank You John. Thank ME? Thank YOU Elaine Stritch for entertaining us all and being a New York icon for so many years.
I literally sent it out not even 2 weeks ago, and did not expect a response so fast. I thought I only got a playbill at first but it flipped through it and the picture fell out and I was even more excited. She really is the best! I hope she can come back to the stage again soon!
Anyone know what adress I can send my letter for Stephen Sondheim too? I've been looking online and found one but it said it might be the wrong adress.
If anyone knows the correct adress, could they please PM me it? Thankful for any responses! :)
Today, I got GREAT mail! I received a signed playbill from Donny & Marie Osmond from their Broadway Christmas show as well as a signed & personalized picture from Marie. I did not anticipate a response after the show closed so I was so excited when I opened it up today! :)
I wrote to Michael Shannon (Mistakes Were Made, off-Broadway) asking for a replacement Playbill since mine got a little ruined by snow (I went on the night of one of our big snowstorms.) I sincerely (and HONESTLY) praised his powerful performance in the show, and enclosed a SASE envelope.
About 3 weeks later I got a Playbill, autographed (just his signature, no personal message.)
And he returned my fan letter in the SASE too! Should I be insulted by that? (LOL) Nah, I'm just happy he responded at all!
Yesterday I got a cast signed Wicked playbill. I wrote to them hoping to get one from Kyle Dean and Teal, but to no avail. Still with Andy Karl and Mandy so just a heads up to those who are interested.
Has anyone heard from Driving Miss Daisy? It's been ages since I sent my letter to them... I sent off to How to Succeed last week, interested to see what/if anything comes back!

Got my Addams cd cover back in two weeks from Nathan Lane, but Bebe didn't sign it. I sent it to her and am currently still waiting - took a risk sending Nathan's autograph back out, but I'm hoping for the best. It's been a little over two weeks now.
I sent the letter c/o the Stage Manager...Still waiting!
