What did you get from Long Story Short and Spider-Man

Spiderman was two unsigned Playbills and a letter from the Foxwoods Theatre.
Long Story was an unsigned playbill, a pamphlet about the show, and an insert. Oh, and also an interns insurance card was included...
I have never sent any Broadway star a letter but I am very curious about getting something back from someone.
So because I'm uninformed in this area, what do I do if I send a letter to someone and hope to get something back? Do I include a SASE?
Is it annoying to actually state "please send me a signed playbill" or should I just not say anything and just wait for something in return?

I have never sent anything out, but I am seriously considering it. I don't really have any window cards or cast recordings, but this whole idea is new to me and intriguing... Maybe I'll send a bunch of letters to theatres... Hmm..

Today, for the first time ever, my envelope was returned to me with a stamp that says Not Deliverable as Addressed/Unable to Forward....the envelope was properly addressed!!

Well, despite mailing it out several months ago, I never heard back from Driving Miss Daisy, and it closes today. Boo.
Havent heard from CMIYC or H2S either
MelissaF, you might hear back from Driving Miss Daisy still. I received a playbill from South Pacific about two months after the show closed, so don't give up yet.
Has anyone heard back from Anything Goes?
Today, I got back a cast signed playbill from Sister Act and an opening night cast signed playbill from Arcadia. Both took about a week.

I want to send a letter to a writer... I'm not looking for an autograph or Playbill- I just want to say how much I loved the show and related to it. I would love to hear back, but I don't want it to seem like I'm writing to hear back. Should I send a SASE, as I'm not actually requesting anything?
Today, I got a cast signed opening night playbill from Wonderland. Also, got a signed headshot from Heidi Blickenstaff.

Has anyone heard from Elaine Stritch recently? I sent her my A Little Night Music window card that was signed by the entire cast except her, and haven't heard back. It's been over 2 months, and she's usually pretty quick about it. I'm worried I might have lost that poster forever!
I've sent to:
-Priscilla
-HIGH (sent before it closed)
-Book Of Mormon
-Catch Me If You Can
-Wonderland
Did anyone ever hear back from these shows, and if so, how long does it take?
Today, I got a cast signed Jerusalem playbill.
