I wrote to Amy a couple weeks ago so hopefully I'll get something soon. I haven't checked my mail in a while so maybe it's there- although I can't check it until tomorrow.
I'm thinking of writing Bob Martin too.

For those of you who have heard from Bob.. have any of you received a headshot? I really want a headshot! I received a personalized playbill..not that I'm complaining.. because it was spectacular.
Has anyone else notices how he has the weirdest signature ever?
Anyone hear from Beth? What about other cast members of Drowsy, like Danny?

Bob sent me a playbill signed. He wrote "KEEP SINGING!"
I cant figure out why he wrote that! I dont even sing! And yes, he has an odd signature!

When I went to see Color Purple it was raining after the show, so I didn't stay for a signature. I mailed my playbill to the theatre and LaChanze just sent it back to me. She stuck some gum between the first two pages in my Playbill!! Is that normal?? Is that something she does with everyone or should I be insulted??

I heard that after shows they take all leftover playbills and give them to the stars to send out since they cant give those out again.. maybe it was an audience member who left it their and the usher/Lachanze didn't notice..
That's pretty gross..

Ohh you sent her a playbill? Okay..that makes it even weirder.
Are sure you got the same one back? A lot of the time when I send in a playbill I get a completly different one.

Not interested in your chewed up gum, just think you did a great job the night I saw you and wanted a signature.
Yes, it was the same Playbill I sent in. I've had that happen to me too where I mailed in a Playbill and they sent me one back from a different month than the one I sent in. That doesn't bug me because I just want the signatures.

Posted: 9/4/06 at 10:16pmI believe this same thing happened to somebody with Alan Cumming when he was in Threepenny. He stuck a chewed piece of gum in the middle of the Playbill he sent back. I don't know if I read about it on this thread or another, but it was definitley Cumming.
