I have found 2 different addresses for the Majestic Theatre. Online I've seen both 245 W 44th st and 247 W 44th St. Can anyone who has had success let me know which address they've sent stuff too

Got back If/Then and they asked for a $25 donation to BC/EFA, and I decide not to send the donation. Hedwig also replied with a non-signed Pride Playbill.

^ Bullets responds. It took about 3 - 4 weeks but they do send you a playbill.

Is there any difference between sending it to a stage manager and just sending it to the theatre?

I believe when wanting a whole cast or majority of a cast to sign something- Stage Manager seems to be the best bet- especially when wanting a casting signed playbill. but i don't know how much a difference it makes.

Today I got my photo back signed/inscribed by LaTanya Richardson. I Sent Via A Raisin in the Sun, but the return Address was a PO Box in Beverly Hills. Took 66 days for me to get it. Had thought i would not get anything back because the show closed, but it came!

Got a response back from Les Mis today. $30 to bcefa for a cast signed playbill. The stage manager did get Andy to sign my Carrie stuff so I'm pretty happy regardless!

I just sent my letters to Hedwig, A Gentleman's Guide, and Kinky Boots yesterday. All of them requesting signed playbills. I know I probably won't get one from Hedwig but I at least am hoping for a NPH playbill!

I got a response from Ramin Karimloo the other day. He sent back a signed and personalized photo of him as Valjean and a signed and personalized playbill. The response took about a week and a half.

Pretty much none of this is current, as when I started sending stuff out I was a mere lurker on this board, but I thought it might be helpful for people to know who has responded in the past as I'm sure some of these actors will end up back on stage at some point or another. I've also included the show they were in at the time.

For all of these, I sent out a photo and in the letter also asked for a signed Playbill if they're able to include one. It's been stated in this thread many times but just so I'm clear, I included a SASE, and always wrote to a specific actor, c/o the production, with the theater address. For the most part I've had success, only a few non-responses that I can recall (James Spader, Anna Deavere Smith, Ben Stiller, Trey Parker & Matt Stone - took a risk early in the run of BoM). I have been sending Fanmail for about a year now, and I have become slightly obsessed! I mostly send out small collages consisting of the posters of the shows of a performer's entire career to be signed and returned. Earlier this year I received personalized autographs on production shots from Lindsay Mendez and Tiffany Haas from Wicked. I wasn't able to see them at the stage door after I saw them in the show, so I wrote to them saying how much I enjoyed their performances. They both replied about a month later. Tiffany included a handwritten note on bright pink paper- very sweet!

Just checked the mail and I got a cast signed playbill from Holler! I'm happy I got it! I guess I sent my request just in time since it closed yesterday.
