I also agree with TT...EDEN would be my choice. And meagan, how is Eden "less than kind"?

Eden was nice the first time I met her...after a show. The second time I met her was at a benefit for the actor's fund and it was shortly after BKLYN's cast recording was released. I brought my CD and asked her to sign it, I was polite, and made sure to not interrupt her or anything, she was short with me and snitty...she was so rude that my friends wouldn't go see BKLYN and support her.
Idina: Somehow I got myself to the stage, came out at the end of the show, and I had some kind of closure.
Some guy: You looked great!
Idina: Thanks...I WAS SO HIGH! 8/21/05

It's most likely going to be Eden.
Ana probably will move onto movies or TV or something after her run in Chicago is up. Shes a known actress, I don't think she would want to transfer to Broadway in the same role when she could be doing other things.
Stephanie probably will be tired of Wicked by the time she's done with the tour. She's had a tough year with her injury and stuff and she deserves to take some time off and do something else besides Wicked.
Eden is semi-known in the theatre world with Brooklyn, and she probably isn't as sick of Wicked as the other two. Saycon will most likely move onto another project when her contract is up in the fall, so she's most likely out of the picture.
Unless they hire a completely new person, Eden most likely will take over.

Her birthday is 4 May 1967. Courtesy of http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0309430/
Ana DOES look just...PHENOMENAL.
And to reply to the original post, I think Heather was discussed for Elphaba several times.

i'd love to see ana move to the broadway production for at least six months.
i think it'd be brilliant for her career and her life experience and she is definitely broadway worthy! she is wonderful in the role
second to her, i'd like to see eden get it. with some consistency, she'd be able to work herself into a routine and thus her performances would do nothing but improve. being a stand by is a HELL of a life, let alone for a role like elphaba.
she needs a chance and some consistency. and to whoever said she cracked during the end of defying gravity...when you can belt an f above middle c for a long period of time painted green, in front of thousands suspended fifty feet in the air for the third or fourth time in your life, then you can comment. until then, don't hate her just for that! we're all human

"...But Kungurtseva reels off multiple fouettes and the tape is stopped so she can take a bow. The Jester, an abomination introduced to Swan Lake in Soviet times, extorts applause from the audience. The cuts don't help the storytelling, the production is bare bones and they go for the '50s-style happy ending.
The audience cheers like mad at the end. It's the Russian ballet, after all..."

The F's are actually pretty short, and it's more like 20 feet. But I do agree with you that some more experience would do wonders for her performance.

right.
well, anyway...consistency and a feeling of being comfortable and stable within a role improves any performer
and eden would definitely benefit

Maybe they could do a Laugh-In reunion with Jo Ann Worley as Elphaba and Goldie Hawn as Glinda.

Eden is the nicest f***ing diva on broadway.

Kristy is already scheduled to take over for Ana...

Bea Arthur as Elphaba! And Betty White as Glinda! We could have a Golden Girls Wicked!
