A la the thread on Anneliese van der Pol on the same topic, why haven't we seen Coleen Sexton on Broadway recently? She has a killer voice, and her moments on the Jekyll and Hyde DVD are really beautiful (then again, shown along Hasselhoff's performance, what wouldn't be brilliant?). I know she toured with Wicked and Legally Blonde, and according to Wikipedia she's playing Velma in Chicago at a theatre in Illinois.
I understand her head got too big for her pointy hat when she was in Wicked and no one wants to work with someone that notoriously difficult. Don't know how she got on in Legally Blonde though.
I totally agree! She was so impressive in Jekyll and Hyde and equally as good in Wicked! They should bring her to NYC! Would love to see her back on the boards! However, if she has a big head, why would she be working regional, if she is "too good"? Don't know if I believe that, but everyone's gotta work I guess!
