You answered your own question.
$$$
I hope it makes them a butt load of cash. As I've said before, it might turn out to be their "A Christmas Carol" - drag it out every so often when the coffers are low.

Because I didn't get to see it, and I want to.

Wait...WHAT? WHERE IS THIS NEWS???
"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

I'd rather see Cabaret than Les Mis.
I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.

Im so excited for the return engagement of Cabaret. I missed it the first time. I just hope it doesn't extend forever.

Because weak shows that didn't make money usually aren't revived.

I am suprised it left even as soon as it did. When we saw it towards the end (with Molly and Raul) we were suprised it was going to close. It was MOBBED!
"Whenever I get gloomy with the state of the world, I think about the arrivals gate at Heathrow Airport. General opinion's starting to make out that we live in a world of hatred and greed, but I don't see that. It seems to me that love is everywhere. Often it's not particularly dignified or newsworthy, but it's always there - fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, husbands and wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, old friends. When the planes hit the Twin Towers, as far as I know none of the phone calls from the people on board were messages of hate or revenge - they were all messages of love. If you look for it, I've got a sneaky feeling you'll find that love actually is all around."

I don't know how official that is, but maybe they are tying up loose ends right now and want to wait before saying any more

I supposed they closed it prematurely thinking they would make just as much money with other shows...like that worked...
