Finally some new pics for the Wicked Chicago site!!!
http://www.wickedthemusical.com/chicago/gallery_stage.htm
now each website for each cast has up-to-date pictures of the current Glinda/Elphaba...
enjoy!
Is Glinda a redhead now?
She looks like Cyndi Lauper.
"TECHNICALLY" Glinda has always been a red-head if you go back to the Wizard of Oz movie days. (I say it in quotations because I don't know if the original book says either way, though I know the Macguire book is specifically blonde... It would be a nice cross over to further combine all the nostalgia... if only the blonde jokes werent so funny!)
She looks like a strawberry blonde.

Man, I was considering going to see this again but seeing that Derrick Williams is in it is enough to keep me away.
I was looking at the Los Angeles pictures, and specifically the Emerald City pic. Is that Tu-Tu dress new??
i think its always been there. Oh and just a note they finally put up the picture of jayne houdyshell as morrible on the broadway site
Nevermind, I just found a picture of it in the Grimmerie...

Bah! When did this happen? When I went in January, Brad Bass was just stepping into the role permanently. Too bad. I really liked his Fiyero.

I saw the show recently and Erin Mackey was excellent. One of my fav Galindas. She is sweet, funny and portrayed the youth of Galinda spot on. Her mannerisms were so similiar to my 13 year old daughter. Her transistion in Dancing Through Life was very moving. I just loved her.
Derrick has vastly improved and I really enjoyed his performance after making fun of him for two years.
Dee seemed to have some voice issue, but she sung through it.
The ensemble is so talented. This production is in excellent shape. I am taking the family in April.

I really enjoyed Derrick Williams' Fiyero! His vocals were spot-on, and he even threw in some of his own runs. Very charismatic.
