If it transfers, it would undoubtedly be with Jonathan Bailey and Ariana Grande intact, unless he’s awful in the part and somehow becomes less famous simultaneously. Other than that, no one can tell the future and the production hasn’t even started rehearsals, so…

God I hope not.

Safe to say theres zero chance this doesn't transfer but further that there's zero chance it transfers without either of these stars.

He's been very vocal about his love for the show and how it's his dream role so I wouldn't think too much into this.

The way that man sings Sondheim, I hope he never plays it. Drops every phrase, runs (?!), the list goes on. The DEH mannerisms and gestures are still there.
