Will ROCK OF AGES change casts with the move?

I saw the phrase "Casting to be announced shortly" on the BWW article regarding ROCK OF AGES' move to the Helen Hayes.

Do you think casts will change with the move? or will mostly the same cast remain?

The whole cast was offered to transfer with the show, but whether everyone is is unknown.

There are very strong rumors circulating that Loretta Swit will be joining the cast once the show transfers. Very strong.

Sarrah Strimel and Katie Webber are two of the female cast members that will be leaving for Catch Me If You Can.

my guesses:
-Taranto,Padgett, and Mayes will return as Drew,Sherrie, and Justice.
-Mitch Jarvis will return as Lonnie
-New female ensemble is a given, perhaps with Julie Nelson staying on.

I'm only guessing here, but I bet Mitch goes back to being Lonny.

I also am speculating that they will get a new Drew. Not sure who and not sure who would be Stacee, but they need to get some names in those roles.

We heard that rumor when they moved from Off BW to Broadway and it didn't happen.
Still not sure what they were thinking then ??

The Toronto company of Rock of Ages just closed and apparently some cast members have been offered to transfer to the Helen Hayes.

No ofense to the great current Sherie, but they need a new girl to play that role. Kerry Butler was excellent, they should cast someone that can act and sing the songs like Kerry was able to.

They need someone who can act, sing and DANCE the part of Sherrie... Kerry may have been good at the singing part and ok at the acting part (not saying she was horrible, I just did not like some of her choices) but her dancing was horrendous.

I would not at all be shocked at this point if it's an entirely new cast in March, or at least a new to Broadway cast. It would not surprise me if they cast former Toronto cast members.

I found Kerry's whiny, nasal voice to be the worst part about the show when I saw it with her.

No disrespect to Kerry, for I love her, but I felt like her Sherry was Kira all over again. I think Butler got a sweet paycheck and a role she could sleep walk through.

Id love to see another actresses take on Justice.

ouch.i haven't seen an u/s for Justice I didn't know maisey ever missed. ..i wonder who is going to play her in the movie..
