Anyone else think it's about time we see SARA RAMERIZ back on Broadway? I thought her Tony Award winning portryal of 'Lady Of The Lake' in Spamalot was fantastic and would love to see her back on the stage!
I'm sure we'll see her at some point, it may just be a long time from now. Many people have left Broadway only to return many years later. Angela Lansbury, Julie Andrews come to mind. So, maybe after Grey's ends and she can choose something that she wants to do, not just for a limited run, she'll be back. I hope.
i really hope she does come back, she has one of the best voices that ever graced broadway...such control and power...i hope she comes back soon, i have an accapella version of her singing "Silent Night" and i listen to it daily...i love her haha

I really hope so. She is definitely missed on Broadway!
I think she is going to do Grey's until it ends or until she gets written off. Grey's is a very good gig and Broadway will be there for her when she is done filming.
LOVE Sara Ramirez though, just throwing that out there.
She's not coming back until you spell her name correctly.
There was an interview with her from Wednesday from shewired.com. She said in it that she does want to do theater again, but her work on Grey's right now doesn't leave her time to.
But yes, I would love for her to come back as well.

Well I don't know who either of the Sara's you are talking about are, but I would like to see Sara Ramirez back.
I absolutely love her! What revivals could you see her doing?
I'm all for Ramirez to tread the boards once again with her presence. We need more Latino representation on Broadway.
Maybe she can make her comeback along with Colum Wilkensen and Marisa Jared Winnoker.

How can a fellow Sara fan find/get this version of "Silent Night" you speak of??? hehe
Sure, when Grey's Anatomy gets canceled and she needs work!
yeah-You can download it from iTunes.
I believe Sara was one of the ladies Roundabout was thinking of last year when they were trying to decide on a Reno for their upcoming revival of Anything Goes. Too bad she already had a great contract with Grey's. How stellar would she have been? !
^ I'm not familiar with the show besides for the title, but I would definitely have gone to see it at least once a week if it happened.
I kind of hate Shonda Rhimes for taking some of my favorite stage actors away from broadway, but most stage actors need to do tv and film to make a living.

She'd be good as the beauty shop manager (forget the character name)in the movie of IN THE HEIGHTS.
I just thought the same thing Jon! Daniela in In The Heights
Wasn't there talk awhile ago of her releasing a solo album? I could be wrong but I'm almost 100% sure I remember reading that somewhere...
^ Yes. Apparently she is still working on it. This was from another interview she did this year. I don't remember the source or when it was from.
Sure is taking long enough, good lord.

She needs to be AIDA. I can't think of a better Eva out there right now: she's a high belting Latina with a commanding presence and star power. The only actress worthy to follow in LuPone's huge shoes.

Go on Youtube and hear her sing Close the Door
it is amazing.I wish she would record it
.She would kill in anythin she wanted to be in...incredibly beautiful and talented..
Could she play Desiree? And although it would probably never make it to Broadway, I think she would make a FANTASTIC Killer Queen in WWRY.
