XANADU OBCR - Release Party Thread!

Come one, come all and revel in the wonder that is the XANADU Original Broadway Cast Recording! Thanks to the stupendous folks at PS Classics, I checked my mail this earlier roundabout noon-ish, to find the CD! Now us'Du Crew members can enjoy the 'Magic' that is. Unfortunately, I don't have my digital camera on me, but I *do* indeed have my copy with me. I wish you all well. Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy! Love to my BWW Family!

Grrrr... I have to work until 4PM. I'm hoping when I get home my mailbox will be filled to the brim with "Xanadu" (I ordered 4 copies) oh pleez, oh pleez, oh pleez... Snapeth!!!!!

I just checked my order with Amazon and it says that it will ship on Feb 14th

She ordered hers on Amazon.com which will be release on feb. 8 (regular date of CD release) if you wanna get it now- you either go to the Helen Hayes or go to PS Classics.com

Yeah, I know -- I placed my order last week with PS Classics -- was looking for it today and, boo-hoo, it hasn't been delivered yet. I just was surprised that Amazon.com would take so long. Thanks. Ed.

I wish I got mine today so I can download it right away on my iTunes and label it ..so when you guys download it.. it will bear my labelling....

BTW- If you guys wanna know how to add photos on your iTunes on the tracks- I can help you...pm me... I am using the playbill logo (I always use it on all my OBCR tracks)

I haven't listened to it yet...when I get home I will definitely listen to "Suddenly" and probably "Xanadu." I'm just glad the show was recorded...still feel bad for poor James Carpinello though.

There were 6 or 7 of us who were waiting. I thought that there was going to be this massive line so I definitely showed up realllly early.

TO everyone who got it in the mail. What did the packaging look like?

I'm in college so whenever we get packages, the mailroom leaves slips in our mailboxes to claim the package. The slip always has a description of the packaging.

Can anyone help me out?
