Hmm...of all the performances I have seen of David in this show (all also from dead center orchestra), he has never NOT sung fully out. How odd. Maybe there was something wrong with the sound at the performance you saw?
The sound in that theatre is AWFUL. I didn't notice it too much, but I think it's because I knew the cast recording so well. My sister, who I took to see LITP, mentioned at the end of the show that she missed so many of the lyrics because the sound system needed to be overhauled. She had seen other productions in that theatre and has always felt that way. I do feel that the person on the soundboard for LITP has the orchestra up a little higher than it should.
Hey all! Sorry if someone has answered this, but I couldn't find it on here or on the official Piazza site... But, when is Aaron's scheduled vacation? I would love to see David
I'd love to see him in the role. I'll have to go back in January.

I chose, and my world was shaken- So what? The choice may have been mistaken,
The choosing was not...

I too worked with David when I was a Choirkid in Joseph! It was back in the summer of 97 in toronto, right when he took over for Donny Osmond. I have been following his career since then and I am soooo happy for him. He was so kind and generous to everyone in that show and I've always thought that those are the kind of people who deserve to make it in this business!! I really hope he starts to get the roles that he deserves!
If anyone is interested in hearing his voice on another recording, he was one of the animated voices in the animated version of The King And I that came out a few years ago.
David Burnham is fabulous. I've seen him in quite a few shows in LA...and I was happy for him when he got the gig in Piazza. I was very disappointed he did not get to take over the role.
