Could it be possible that the poster in Times Square was to be replaced with the official logo or something?

Has any change been made to the poster on Times Square?

Just a question - Is the movie Young Frankenstein worth seeing before I see the show? I haven't ever seen it.
Thanks

Ok, I'll try to rent it some time before I see the show.

I'm nearly positive it will open at the Paramount in Seattle just because they've been so hush-hush about what the other show making up the rest of the season next year is... I was there this past weekend to see LitP and asked but they said they "wouldn't know for a few more weeks."

I have a feeling that that little thing on the site is what we've been waiting for...well doesn't that suck?

My mom said that they were saying on the radio today something like "The Producers is closing today, but you Mel Brooks fans don't you worry because he has a new musical coming to the St. James theatre, Young Frankenstein."
So, I dunno. It's really making me mad that they still haven't posted anything. Am I the only one that thinks the new message on the YF site is kinda weird. Maybe they are clues for something or something, haha.

Is it true you are up for the lead as the monster Dolly?

Billy is wrong that Grease will take the St James. Every article on broadwayworld, playbill.com and broadway.com talking about the show says it will open at the Brook Atkinson. And, every newspaper article says it will open there as well as ticketmaster.com. So, I believe those more then I would believe some poster saying he knows for sure without anything to back him up.
I don't think that Pirate Queen will leave at all anytime soon. The ticket sales are doing well and it is the kind of lavish musical tourists want to see when they come to broadway.
I thought the whole idea was to close the producers and put Young Frankenstine there.

Wow, I didn't realize that so many morons post here.
I call for this thread to be deleted. Just a waste of time.

If Brooks wants the Hilton, he'll get the Hilton- simple as that.
The owners are going to jump at a cash cow, rather than something that makes them keep their 'stop clause' in mind.

If, by some miracle, Pirate Queen can build an audience & it is kicked out of the Hilton, will it move somewhere else - assuming a theater is open?

That article says nothing more than what Riedel did. It just added specs about the theater.

True, but at least the Variety article doesn't read like a shady gossip column.
