Scar from "The Lion King"
Orin from "Little Shop of Horrors"
"Goodness is rewarded. Hope is guaranteed. Laughter builds strong bones. Right will intercede. Things you've said I often find I need, indeed. I see the world through your eyes. What's black and white is colorized. The knowledge you most dearly prized I'm eager to employ. You said that life has infinite joys."

re: Your Favorite Villan

Audrey 2 is a cool one. I think mine would be Bill Sykes. The fact that he is the cause of some of the best songs in the show and the fact of the unexpected and horrorfying climax that he causes... brilliantly written character. I also like his song!

The Thenardiers- LES MISERABLES
Cmon everyone knows they love Mme. Morrible. Carole Shelley was absolutley amazing as Morrible as well. She gave, what I believe, was one of the most underrated performances of the year. I guess it was eclipsed by Idina and Kristin's star-making turns.

re: Your Favorite Villan

Javert is NOT a villain! Read the book -- he's the most moral character in there, just as was previously said, misunderstood. The Thernardiers, on the other hand, are most definitely villains. I even wrote a paper about this college. Same with Sweeney actually - not REALLY a villain - he actually isn't in the most classic sense -- he's actually the protagonist of the piece. If anything, Judge Turpin is the villain. Just as the witch is not a villain in Into the Woods. My vote for favorite would go to either Gaston in Beauty and the Beast (I LOVE the song Me) or Jud Fry or Bill Sikes from Oliver! ("Me" is almost as good as "My Name"). I know he's been criticized, but I also like Chauvelin's two songs in Scarlet Pimpernell a lot.

Frollo from The Hunchback of Notre Dame, he's def the scariest Disney villian and he has the best villan song ever.
I have to say the Cat from Honk! and Miss Hannigan from Annie as well and Applegate from Damn Yankees

"Have a child for warmth and a baker for bread and a prince for... whatever!"
