Mine is The Grinch
Probably The Lion King. I really hated it.
And also Jekyll and Hyde, but the cheap production certainly didn't help.

"101 Dalmatians." That was a HUGE SLAP IN THE FACE to musical theatre.

I am going to have to mediate on this to pick between Blood Brothers and Joseph and the incredibly dreadful blah blah blah.
The Lion King, Movin' Out, BKLYN, and the list goes on and on...

The stage version of GREASE and CATS.
Worst shows I've ever seen:
1. Movin Out
2. Women on the Verge
3. Little Women.

There are the shows that I hate, along with everybody else:
Joseph
Cats
Mamma Mia
The musicals that everybody else is in love with:
Thoroughly Modern Millie
42nd Street
And the ones that I really think are mediocre, but the fact that so many people love them makes me hate them:
Phantom of the Opera
Jekyll & Hyde (I know a lot of people hate this, too, but everybody I talk to who's seen it thinks that it's just brilliant)
Toss up between. Big and Thoroughly Maudlin Millie

Took a great nap during Thoroughly Modern Millie. I also hated Banned In Berlin. Was that classified as a musical?
Hot Feet
Shrek
White Christmas
Wicked
I think out of all the shows I have seen over the years Brklyn is the one I actually cringe when I think back on it. I was given comps and still wanted my money back and something for damages and pain and suffering.!
A tie between the last revival of Grease and Cry Baby. Although I loved Ashford's Choreography for the later, so I guess in reality Grease wins since it made my eyes bleed and CB didn't.

Anyone care to share why?
I suspect it's worse when I forget a show because when I hate a show, it's for personal reasons and I use that in creating my own work.
Well when I saw BKLYN, I sat front row center while Eden Espinosa screamed at me for 100 intermissionless minutes. I think it's the only time in my life I've ever prayed for the sweet release of death.
