I think that the entire Beautiful soundtrack takes the cake! Carol King is probably the best song-writer ever!

Seeing as I'm pretty much only going from cast albums, I'd say "One Second and a Million Miles" is the best I've heard yet. That could change after I hear If/Then and the full Rocky recording.

Only going off the shows I've seen, and only original songs (sorry A NIGHT WITH JANIS JOPLIN, "Eye of the Tiger" and much of BEAUTIFUL with one exception:)

"1650 Broadway Medley" from BEAUTIFUL
"Almost Real" "One Second and a Million Miles" and "It All Fades Away" from BRIDGES
"I've Decided to Marry You" from GENTLEMAN'S GUIDE
"Raining" and "Fight From the Heart" from ROCKY

BONUS: Zachary Levi's performance of "In Love with You" from FIRST DATE, which elevated a meh song to a showstopper.

Anything from "Bridges," although I have a soft spot for "Another Life" -- the best song Joni Mitchell never wrote -- and "It All Fades Away." The "Rocky" score is wan, at best, and I haven't yet heard "If/Then" and the new "Aladdin" material. And as much as I love "Gentleman's Guide," nothing tops what JRB has given us this season.

Haven't seen Rocky or Bridges yet - so a little skewed

But I love Slay the Dragons and Be the Hero from Big Fish
Always Starting Over from If/Then
In Love with You (because of Zac Levi's performance) in First Date

Extra Cheat-anything from Beautiful because I am a fan of King, Mann and Weil


If I say the banana song from Bullets will I be killed???? JK
