May she rest in peace.
By the way, the AP says she was 84, not 94.

Oh my, that is so sad. What a loss.
typo. i changed it in the title -- sorry chitlins.
Nooooooooooooo.
I'm so sad. Her "I'm Still Here" will forever remain a Broadway legend, and will forever be the best version of the song.
Carlotta will still be here in our hearts and memories
May Yvonne rest in peace
I've also thought of her as sooo divine and gorgeous since I was a kid. Even as a young boy, I knew I was gay when watching her on the Munsters and thinking she was gothically gorgeous. Those eyes are stunning. RIP Yvonne, you fabulous diva.
Very sad. She was my favorite Carlotta too
for me, she'll always be Still Here.
oh, all my childhood memories of watching the Munsters on TBS just came flooding back. I remember the first time I found out she was Carlotta in Follies. Total shock. What a performer and what a loss.
RIP Yvonne
I remember her playing the role of Sue Smith in the Australian production (1972) of NO, NO, NANETTE, tap dancing up a storm in the I Want To Be Happy number. RIP Yvonne.
What a gorgeous woman. And a fabulous actress.
She oozed class.
Rest in peace.
RIP. She will most definitely be missed. My mom still remembers, as a teenager, seeing her in Follies!
Seeing her in Follies 30 plus years ago singing "I'm Still Here" was a moment to remember & savor

So sad to hear that. Now she's with "Herman" and Grandpa".
Amazing woman.
Rest In Peace, Yvonne, you were remarkable.
I second that.
I recommend Ted Chapin's book Everything Was Possible is anyone is interested in reading about Yvonne DeCarlo's time in Follies
Rest now, my friend,
Rest now forever.
Sleep now the untroubled
Sleep of the angels ...
Of the original "Follies" cast, this means that only John McMartin, and Young Buddy, Young Sally, Young Ben and Young Phyllis are left, doesn't it? Of the main characters, I mean.
We always think of Carlotta as being absolutely ancient, but, in 1971, Miss DeCarlo (upon whose career Sondehim based the song) was only 49. What a life she had!
