What is your favorite solo cd of a broadway actor?

Ellen Greene-"In His Eyes". Has Ellen actually ever been on Broadway or just off? I am unsure. It is still my favorite CD. She breaks the mold on so many classic songs as well as contemporary favorites.

I was going to start a thread about this, but I don't see the point now, with this thread, but what are some of the best solo Cds from the young people of Broadway, like Matt Bogart, Julia Murney, or Josh Young. Anyone else?

Obvious, but Idina and Adam Pascal have good ones.

Anything done by Bernadette is spectacular.
Oh, and The Lady WIth the Torch- Patti LuPone!
I just got it and, wow.

Both of Matt Caplan's discs are completely amazing.

Seriously, no matter how you feel about his stage work, give his solo stuff a quick listen. It's wonderful: www.myspace.com/mattcaplan

Yeah, I was most referring to Broadway performers performing Broadway. Not their individual solo careers, though I do like Gavin Creels stuff.

All right, so I am not a huge Matt Caplan fan by any means (I really disliked him in RENT) but I just went to that site, and I was pretty impressed. It's very good.

I only have one so far, but I love it. Karmine Alers "For You". Great CD! I ordered Howard McGillin's recently so who knows, maybe by next week I'll have a new favorite!

"I wrote a book: "How to Be Popular". Now I've put together a top ten list of how to help you: -Elphie, everyday... shower. I mean, who knows? Maybe some of that green is gonna come off! -Deodorant Elphie. No body likes a stinky witch! -I think we've covered the hair, we'll get to that. -Clean underclothes. That's all I'm gonna say. -Look at your posture. That's no way to be popular! -Bed made, room straightened. We've done that. -Colors blended. Oookay. -But the most important thing to have, to make yourself popular, is to keep your beautiful smile." ~Kristin Chenoweth in her last performance of the song "Popular"
