I should be compensated for the paper towels I now need to clean up the water I spit all over my computer after I read that post.
So they would be: The Loser Tony Awards? The Unsustainable Tony Awards? The Epic Fail Tony Awards?
And just what award would 13 have gotten?
The shows (for the most part) were forgotten because they were forgettable.

i tought that you guys would be like yeah good for you bryan. but you guys are so mean i am laughing at you guys
We don't award bad ideas. Or bad spelling.
Bryan, that idea wouldn't work, but I feel like a lot of actors in unsuccessful shows did a really good job, though. James Barbour and the rest of the cast of A Tale of Two Cities are extremely talented, and I felt bad when none of them were acknowledged, even though I didn't expect them to be.

However, if a show cannot last long enough to BE seen how are the tony voters suppose to judge things? They cannot feasibly see every show BEFORE it get's nominated.
Of course the problem exists for limited run shows as well...and I don't know how to fix that.
Bryan -- has anybody ever said "Yeah, good for you Bryan!" BroadwayWorld doesn't exist just so you can get a pat on the back for your dumb ideas. Although I am glad to see you've taken a break from the Cry-Baby cast recording schtick.
If you're gonna put your ideas out there you can't expect everyone to love them. To believe otherwise is naive and stupid.
And for god's sake learn to spell.
Although I am glad to see you've taken a break from the Cry-Baby cast recording schtick.
Ditto. But THIS is what he decided to post about instead? Mhmm....
Bryan and Tom must be kindred spirits. Oy.
