I heard this on a broadway world.com post a long time ago: Idina Menzel was giving some speech on the Tsunami fund raising. She asked if Jen Laura Thompson had anything to add, and after a pause, Jen goes, "I like cheese!" Then Idina goes, "I like chocolate!" And they dance around, "I like cheese! I like chocolate!" Then Idina says to audience, "Inside joke!" or something like that, and the curtain closes. Anyone there when that cute little thing came up?
My dream role would be to be myself. To be performing at the Hollywood Bowl and to have an audience there just to see me, as Stephanie. They are there because they like what I do as a singer, an artist and a person (the last being the most important). I enjoy escaping and portraying other characters, but to be accepted and wanted as yourself... that's amazing! --Stephanie J. Block
Just one of the many reasons I admire and respect Stephanie!!

I chose, and my world was shaken- So what? The choice may have been mistaken,
The choosing was not...

On the other one...but I just thought I'd add it...
I didn't get to see it, but a friend of mine did. But basically it was just to call everyone to attention during for the Tsunami Victims thing...and well Idina said something along the lines that she was announcing her engagement to JLT. JLT was supposedly a bit irked by this...but it was all a joke. (obviously) And well Idina asked her if she wanted to add anything...and she kind of thought for a while and said "I like cheese." And well Idina couldn't stop laughing and they eventually started this little song and dance number about liking cheese and chocolate. I doubt it had anything to do with their husbands. CHEESE...completely random guys...
I wonder what JLT's thing is with cheese. On the broadway.com video, you can hear Michelle say something to JLT about cheese right before "No One Mourns the Wicked." It's toward the end of the video. I've seen the "I like Chocolate, I Like Cheese" clip and I, myself, do not understand it.
there is a clip of it on Idinamenzel.net...crazy witches
So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life.~Office Space
