I'm in a good mood tonight, so I'll actually answer your question instead of making fun of your awful spelling/grammar and choice of question.
I believe they put it on him very quickly while he's behind the wall. If not, it could be a double.
It's a double.
It is a double. In Chicago you could obviously tell when the Boq that went back was not asian and the tin man was magically asian! I do believe that Boq walks into the dresser that elphaba came down in through a back door

Is it really that fast? Doesn't he have quite a few numbers before MOTWH? Its been a while, so I may not be right, but I didn't think there was that much of a crunch for time.
ITS ALL MIRRURZ.
There is after WWoTE:
Scene
Wonderful
Scene
INTGR
ALAYM
Catfight
NGD
Then MOTWH.

That seems like ample time for the transformation to occur.
honestly, who HASN'T seen wicked by now who is on these boards?
haha honestly.. I havent... simply because it hasnt come close enough on tour, but ill be seeing it in may
Yes, it's a double for that scene. During the witch hunters scene, however, it is the actor playing Boq.

Since you asked how, I'll tell you how and not just what.
During the scene, there is an ensemble member (I assume, he could be a swing for all I know) waiting behind the big mirror/dresser/closet thing dressed up as the Tin Man. When Boq is wheeled back there, he remains and the double runs out after Elphaba does her thing, waving his arms around while the actor playing Boq says his lines. After that scene, the actor playing Boq has plenty of time to change into his Tin Man costume.

Magic, duh! HELLO??!
Ya Elphie casts a spell on him duhhhh
honestly, who HASN'T seen wicked by now who is on these boards?
And even if you haven't seen it, I'd find it hard to believe a regular here didn't know about this aspect of the show.
Elphaba's magic.
All snarkiness aside and regardless of how many people on this board are proficient in Wicked and assume the rest of the world is: I find this thread title rather irresponsible.
What if the same was done regarding the plot twist of a character in a show you were dying to see without a spoiler warning? Albeit it a very brief part of the show, it does make up a large part of the entire Boq character arc which is not general knowledge.

I'd think if you were "Dying to see" Wicked you'd go see it.
Although this is a spoiler, it's doesn't spoil the ending.
And logan0215, if you really were a fan of the show and dying to see it, I assume you are very familiar with the cast recording. That said, you know that Boq sings in "March of the Witch Hunters" the following: "It's due to her, I'm made of tin..."
So, your point is moot, stop complaining.
Is the line "Hi, I'm Boq! Its due to her..."
Didn't think so.
This thread could have simply said "Wicked Question about Boq (Spoiler)"
-------------**august: osage county spoiler**-------------
So would you be perfectly fine with someone starting a thread with "How do Ivy and Little Charles find out they're brother and sister in August: Osage County?"

Um, if you listen, it sounds like Christopher Fitzgerald (who plays Boq) singing. It's not really hard to figure out.
