I saw the play last night and stage doored. Was really pretty easy. Maybe 30 people there tops, and Jake came out relatively quick. I got a picture with him. I asked him for a picture and he said "of course" and did take one which is awesome! He did sign for everyone who was there and while I wouldn't describe him as friendly I would say he was polite. He didn't look too happy to me which I think is a reflection of the stinker of a play he is currently in.
He moved quickly, but you can get a picture but must be quick. However, my friend did not get a picture and she was just a bit later than me and he had already moved down the line. She tried to call him back but he was ushered back into the theater. He had the body guard play bad cop though so it wasn't as if it came from him.
I really hope he comes back to theater, perhaps in a Broadway venture worthy of his talents.

Just got this note from a friend. He saw the show 2 weeks ago but wasn't able to go to stage door after matinee so he went today. This was his experience: Gyllenhall was a douche.. I had a casual pose.. Guy (stage door Nazi) said he would only sign 1. So I kept the casual nothing shot. Jake got to me and said , " did you see the play?" Walked right by me took my marker tho.. Signed only playbills.. Wouldn't take pix. Handed me back my pen. Come on Jake, even Hugh Jackman and Daniel Radcliffe take time for the fans!

Interesting. I'm not saying you're lying but every time I've done the stage door (and as some people know, it's a lot) he's signed anything put in front of him (except for anything PRINCE OF PERSIA, which they ask you don't ask him to sign) and takes pictures with anybody who asks.
As for Jake asking your friend if he saw the play, I'm calling Bull**** on that. He's very nice but very quiet and I've never seen him actually initiate a conversation with anyone there.
