If I just lay here
Would you lie with me and just forget the world?

Idina Menzel's last Wicked in London 30/12...fantastic. I know the girl can be over rated but she was utterly fabulous at this performance.

oooooh I envy you so much re: last show you saw in 2006
I don't need a life that's normal. That's way too far away. But something next to normal would be okay. Something next to normal is what I'd like to try. Close enough to normal to get by.

"The Times They Are A Changin" Closing night.

"RENT"

I liked the "Times" better, so much more to see and so fun.
I took my 22 year old daughter to "Rent" and she was pretty bored with it. She also liked the "Times" better and she doesn't care for musicals much, but we're trying! I guess we'll try "Spring Awakening" next trip.

All Shook Up tour.
"If this is going to be a Christian nation that doesn't help the poor, either we have to pretend that Jesus was just as selfish as we are, or we've got to acknowledge that He commanded us to love the poor and serve the needy without condition and then admit that we just don't want to do it." -Stephen Colbert

Company on the 28th at 8pm.
Lovely :)
And the other thing about the Phantom Lady was, Bert, she realized, in the city that never sleeps... What did she realize, Kitten? That all the songs she'd listened to, all the love songs, that they were only songs. What's wrong with that? Nothing, if you don't believe in them. But she did, you see. She believed in enchanted evenings, and she believed that a small cloud passed overhead and cried down on a flower bed, and she even believed there was breakfast to be had... Where? On Pluto. The mysterious, icy wastes of Pluto.

Boston Spelling Bee (though not the final one)
"In the rain, the pavement shines like silver
All the lights are misty in the river
In the darkness, the trees are full of starlight
And all I see is him and me forever and forever."
