The Court Jester, that's a great musical film.
Another one from Caddyshack:
"I was born to love you
I was born to lick your face
I was born to rub you
But you were born to rub me first".
I forgot all about Mrs Henderson Presents! It has great musical #'s plus it is an amazing film. Go see it!

oh yeah that.
Okay anything else like some Laurel and Hardy films and Marx Brothers films.
That's got some great stuff, I think.
I forgot how great Meryl Streep sounds in her two musical #'s in Postcards from the Edge, Shirley maclaine also has one in that film. Streep also sings Amazing Grace in her car during Silkwood. She is also in a Bonnie and Clyde musical # at the end of Stuck On You.

Oh my furging God, how could I forget that?
Something just popped up: in the movie Big Daddy, everyone starts singing "Space Oddity" by David Bowie on the plane.
Wow they keep jumping into my head! Bette Davis sings with the slaves in Jezebel. I believe she also sings in Dark Victory at the bar.

Nice!! Has anyone seen "The Three Amigos" with Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Chevy Chase?
It has songs by Randy Newman: "The Ballad of the three Amigos"
"My Little Buttercup"
and "Blue Shadows".
It's great stuff, man. Check it out.
I don't think this was mentioned... in Mrs. Doubtfire, when they're trying all the makeup on Robin Williams, he, Harvey Feirstein, and another actor whose name escapes me at the moment sing "Matchmaker, Matchmaker"

Okay, how about some Disney films with songs that have extended DANCE sections in them.
Some that immediately come to mind are
"The Aristocats" ("Ev'rybody Wants To Be A Cat" - my favorite part of the song, the JAM SESSION)
"Dumbo" (The "Pink Elephants" ballet section)
"Snow White" ("The Silly Song" and "Whistle While You Work" have extended dance interludes in them)
"Sleeping Beauty" (everything in it)
"Oliver and Company" (you could say the song "Why Should I Worry" has some dancing in it, there's no way it can work without it)
"The Little Mermaid" ("Under The Sea")
"Newsies" (everything)
"Hunchback" ("Topsy-Turvy")
"Jungle Book" ("I Wanna Be Like You")
Think of some others...

Oh I'm sorry...
I meant "Cry Baby" the movie by John Waters and starring Johnny Depp.
"Cry Baby" has a slew of that stuff in there. I think they have like 4 original songs in the movie.
